My name is Thomas (Tom) Heaven.

I am a retired Air Force Medic, Physician assistant, Clinical Psychologist, and Contract Manager for a company that provides Family Services for the three major US Navy Bases in San Diego, CA.

From that background, I have garnered a great deal of knowledge about certain aspects of the world we live in. Since I am retired, I can no longer practice medicine as a physician assistant or psychology as a clinical psychologist. However, I can offer you information based on my experience in those fields.

Since my retirement, I have also become a writer of both fiction and non-fiction. I will post pieces which will range from poems to short stories, and when I complete my first novel, that will be available here too.

I have developed some strong views of the world and will share them with you. I do not intend to offend anyone, but if you read with an open mind, you may learn something. I will have a place for comments so that we may have an open dialogue about any issue I write about.
